What is Fine Cell Work?

Fine Cell Work is a registered charity who run needlepoint classes in prisons throughout the UK. This fills the prisoners' time in a constructive and peaceful manner, and allows them to earn some money, so they have a small fund when they are released. Prison Governors have noticed how voices and physical demeanor of prisoners can be softened as a result of their needlework. The prisoners work is of a very high quality and is sold at internationally renowned auction houses as well as small boutiques. A donation is made to the charity everytime a Fine Cell Work kit is sold.
